PARENTS CODE OF CONDUCT

Parent Code of Conduct

As a parent of a participant in Hotshots Academy, I understand and agree to abide by the following code of conduct. My commitment to these principles will contribute to the positive and supportive atmosphere we aim to create for our children's development in football and life skills.

• Positive Support:

  • I will encourage and support my child in a positive manner, emphasizing effort, improvement, and sportsmanship over winning.

​

• Respect for Everyone:

  • I will respect the coaches, officials, and other parents, treating everyone with courtesy and consideration.

​

• Player Development Focus:

  • I understand that the primary focus of Hotshots Academy is on the development of life skills such as confidence, communication, and collaboration through football. I will encourage my child to embrace this holistic approach to learning.

• Sideline Behavior:

  • I will refrain from shouting instructions or feedback during classes and matches. Let the coaches coach. Feedback can be given outside of class times

• Conflict Resolution:

  • In the event of a concern or disagreement, I will follow the appropriate channels for conflict resolution outlined by Hotshots Academy, such as speaking with the coach or designated club representative.

• Modeling Good Behavior:

  • I will model good sportsmanship and positive behavior, both on and off the field, for my child and others.

​

• Safety First:

  • I will prioritize the safety of all participants and adhere to any safety guidelines provided by Hotshots Academy.

• Attendance and Punctuality:

  • I will ensure that my child arrives on time for all activities and notify the coach in advance if my child cannot attend a scheduled session or match.

• Communication:

  • I will maintain open and respectful communication with the coaches and club officials, staying informed about my child's progress and any relevant club information.

• Enjoyment and Fun:

  • I will encourage my child to have fun and enjoy their time at Hotshots Academy, emphasizing the joy of playing football and building positive relationships with teammates.

By following this code of conduct, I am committed to creating a positive and friendly atmosphere for all participants in Hotshots Academy. I understand that my behavior significantly impacts the overall experience for the children and contributes to the success of our club's mission.
